You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and should not share your username and password with anyone. You are responsible for all activity on your account, and Learning Sciences shall not be responsible for any losses incurred by you resulting from someone else's use of your password or account.

Submitting Content
Much of the coursework on this site requires you to submit work to this website. By submitting content, you automatically grant permission to Learning Sciences to display, distribute and/or otherwise transmit the content. All published coursework or other material submitted are considered copyright-free and may be accessed, viewed, modified, published, distributed, performed and displayed by other participants and users through eMBEDDED LEARNING™ System or its affiliated organizations and companies. You should not submit any information, ideas or content to this website unless you are specifically requested to do so. Learning Sciences makes no assurances that your unsolicited ideas, information, content and/or materials will be treated as confidential or proprietary.

Privacy
By submitting information to this website, whether requested or not, you agree to the following:

• You grant to Learning Sciences the permission to transfer your course completion information to the third party paying clients of Learning Sciences, including state education departments and other employers, that sponsor you to take courses ("Third Party Organizations").
• You grant permission for representatives of Third Party Organizations to review or score your coursework.
• You grant permission for selected coursework completed by you to be placed into a "public database," available only to paying clients of Learning Sciences, for other learners to view and benefit. Your coursework is a valuable resource for other learners, and those who use it may submit comments to the "public database" with their suggestions and adaptations.
• You grant Learning Sciences permission to send you e-mail announcements and updates, unless you specifically request otherwise.

Payment
Payment for courses is due upon registration. We accept Visa and Mastercard.

Facilitated Course Refunds/Withdrawals
If for any reason you need to withdraw an enrollment in a course, you may contact Customer Support via our website. Withdrawals can be processed as long as the course has not been started. This includes cases where you enrolled in the wrong course in error.

Once the course has been started, we cannot process a refund. In the event that you enroll in and pay for a course, but haven't started the course, a refund can be granted.

Be aware that cancellations or deletions of enrollments cannot be reversed. All coursework completed will be permanently deleted as well. Be sure to consider this before submitting your request. Please submit your request in writing to Customer Support. Refunds may take up to 5 business days to process. Your request should include the following information:

• Type of Credit Card
• Last Four Digits of Credit Card Number

Use Of Site
This website is published and maintained by Learning Sciences and is strictly for educational purposes. You may not distribute, exchange, modify, or interrupt any operation on the site. All materials such as text, audio, images, video clips, graphics, logos, button icons, and software are protected under U.S. copyright and/or patent law. Any other use, including reproduction, modification, distribution, transmission, republication, display, or performance is strictly prohibited with the exception of published coursework and discussion group postings.

Software
Any software available for download from Learning Sciences website(s) is copyrighted. You will be unable to download or install such software unless you agree to the terms of use that accompany the software.

eMBEDDED LEARNING™ System enables users to post public documents, join discussion groups and offer comments regarding content on the site.
